Our big yellow  boards are up, keep an eye out for them 🙂

We’re delighted to announce a large entry of full size steam engines for this year’s event.  Many of the old favourites will be attending, and as always there will be some engines visiting us for the first time!

This evening we feature this lovely Burrell traction engine “The Duchess”, recently purchased by the Haylock family, and seen on the road in Ashdon, near Saffron Walden.

Preparations are well under way for this year’s Crank Up, to include a special display telling the story of Ploughing.

A site meeting was held today and the ground was found to be in excellent condition.  We look forward to seeing you on 12th & 13th May!
